Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the Islamic Knowledge website, online courses, store and related services.
Last updated: 5 August 2026
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using islamicknowledge.co.uk (the “Website”) or our Online Courses and Content, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.
1. Who we are
The Website is operated by Islamic Knowledge (“we”, “us”), registered office at 36 Harwood Gate, Blackburn, BB1 5HP. Contact: info@islamicknowledge.co.uk.
2. Accounts
You may need an account to enrol in courses or use certain features. You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and notify us promptly of unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Authentication and account data are provided via Supabase Auth. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or pose a security risk.
3. Courses and access
Paid access to Online Courses and Content is granted through entitlements recorded on our platform after payment is confirmed (typically via Stripe webhooks). Access checks read those entitlements — payment alone does not bypass them.
- Course materials, videos (delivered via Bunny Stream) and downloads are licensed for your personal, non-commercial study only.
- You must not share account credentials, redistribute recordings, or scrape content.
- Preview lessons (where marked) may be available without purchase; the rest of a course requires a valid entitlement or free-course flag.
- All-Access membership (where offered) covers courses flagged as included; exclusions and pricing are shown at checkout and on the All-Access page.
4. Payments, subscriptions and refunds
Prices are shown in GBP unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe. For instalment and subscription products, you authorise recurring charges as described at checkout until cancelled or completed.
Refunds for course enrolments are governed by our Refund Policy. You can manage some subscription billing via the Stripe Customer Portal where enabled.
5. Store
Physical and digital store products are subject to the descriptions, stock, shipping and fulfilment terms shown at checkout. Risk in physical goods passes on delivery according to the carrier’s terms and applicable law.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Website unlawfully or to harm others;
- attempt to circumvent paywalls, DRM, rate limits or security controls;
- upload malware or abuse APIs, webhooks or infrastructure;
- copy, record or redistribute course video or assessments except as we expressly permit;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Islamic Knowledge.
7. Intellectual property
Website design, branding, course curricula, video, text and other materials are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited licence to study enrolled content, no rights are granted. Classical Islamic texts referenced in courses remain subject to their own publication and scholarly norms; our presentations and recordings remain our copyright.
8. Disclaimers
Educational content is provided for learning and personal development. It is not a substitute for personalised religious, legal or medical advice. We aim for accuracy and sincerity but do not warrant that content is error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid course is limited to the amount you paid for that course in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence where applicable.
